What is Magic Blackboard?
We are introducing the retro Magic Blackboard following the success of Magic Whiteboard on Dragons Den. It allows you to create a blackboard from a roll anywhere, in seconds. Combining the best bits of a flipchart with a traditional blackboard it’s perfect for presentations, conferences, training events, team meetings and group work. It encourages people to interact with each other and contribute more - everyone will be impressed with Magic Blackboard! How does it stick and will it leave any marks?
Because Magic Blackboard is statically charged it will stick to most hard flat surfaces including walls, doors, glass and wallpaper without needing tape, bluetac or glue - so it never leaves any marks!
Can you stick paper to Magic Blackboard?
Because Magic Blackboard is statically charged, notes and paper can be stuck to it without the need for tape, bluetac or glue.
Do you need to use a special pen?
For best results we recommend you use chalk markers pens such as those available on this website.
Is it erasable?
Yes, the chalk will rub off .
What can you rub the chalk out with?
You can use your fingers, a damp cloth or a wet wipe.
How many times can it be reused?
Magic Blackboard can be reused more than 10 times. The exact number of times will depend on how you use and clean Magic Blackboard. If you clean it with a damp cloth or whiteboard remover after use it will last longer.
Can the sheets be folded up after use?
Yes, the sheet can be folded after use.
How many sheets are on a roll?
Each roll contains 10 perforated sheets, the roll is 8 metres long.
What size are the sheets?
Each A1 sheet measures 60cm wide and 80cm deep. They are the same size as flipchart paper.
How long will it stick to walls?
Magic Blackboard will stick to walls for several months, although the exact time depends how many times you take it down and reapply it.
Can it be used outside?
For best results use inside, it can be used outside but use in a draft free place. The sheets will not stick as well if air or a breeze gets behind them.
Is it recyclable?
Yes, Magic Blackboard is fully recyclable, place in the plastics recycling container. It has been designed and produced using environmentally friendly methods.
What is it made of?
Magic Blackboard is made from statically charged polypropylene film.
How does the price compare to flipchart paper?
Magic Blackboard is cheaper than good quality flipchart paper (typically, less than half the price). You can also reuse Magic Blackboard and you don’t need to buy a flipchart stand.
How heavy is each roll?
Each roll weights just 0.60 Kilograms It’s perfect for taking to clients and customers. Keep a roll in your car boot just in case there are no flipcharts available - it doesn’t crease like flipchart paper and is less bulky.

Yes, we have many customers who use Magic Blackboard when playing darts in pubs or at home. They use it to keep score. It is portable and lightweight and will stick to any hard flat surface. It will stick to a wall next the the dartboard and can be easily taken down when not required. No marks will be left on walls. Pub darts teams across the United Kingdom are using Magic Blackboard as a darts blackboard.
